Tamblyn's
Situated amongst the rolling hills of South East Cornwall, and farming here since our grandfather bought our farm in 1943, we grow wheat, barley and oats to feed our cattle and pigs. We started to make sausages for our friends and family, and after some great feedback, we decided to start selling them further afield. Check out our range of award winning sausages, burgers and bacon that are available for you now.

About Us
In 1943 John and Clara Tamblyn came upon the idea to diversify their farming business and start a butchers round in Plymouth. Now many years later the Tamblyn grandsons, Jonathan and Martin have followed their Grandparents’ lead and are producing hand-made gourmet sausages from their turn of the century converted barns at their farm in Blunts near Saltash. Martin and Jonathan’s wives Anne and Carol have joined the business helping to produce and market the sausages to bistros, hotels, pubs and restaurants in the local area, completing the family based business. Tamblyn’s values extend throughout the farm and on to countryside stewardship in general. On the farm, wildlife strips are being encouraged, wild flower meadows are left to blossom, 2 lakes have been developed and there is a constant programme of tree planting and hedge maintenance. There is a Tamblyn mandate to produce the very best Cornish produce from the very best in Cornish environments. We aim to provide our customers with the some of the finest products that we make ourselves, or source from trusted producers locally. The farm that we run, aims to enhance the abundant wildlife that we are fortunate enough to have on our farm in Cornwall. We do this by being fully involved in Countryside stewardship, and we aim to hand the farm on to the next generation ever more focused on wildlife, and being a farm that is helping to slow climate change.
